Boris Johnson has refused to reveal the naughtiest thing he has ever done in case it could be politically damaging.
Sky News presenter Sophy Ridge asked the Prime Minister the loaded question in an interview on Sunday.
But Johnson swerved it, and said he couldn’t possibly tell the world about his naughtiest secret in case it would be “terminally politically damaging".
Wearing a poppy, Boris stuttered: “I would improvise an answer which I’ve not cleared with my handlers and I would bitterly regret it.”
He added: “I’m not going to extemporise some answer about the naughtiest thing I’ve ever done.
“If I can think of some, some answer about the naughtiest thing I’ve ever done that this is both interesting and not terminally politically damaging, I will try and provide it for you next time indeed.”
Johnson’s nervous answer is a far cry from Theresa May’s infamous and innocent answer of “run through fields of wheat!”
Diligent Ridge agreed to hold him to the promise but the conversation left enough room for Internet users to speculate.
Referring to Johnson's failed Brexit, a Twitter user quipped: "You lied to the British people within the first month of being Prime Minister and in the second you lied to the Queen."
While a second said: "It couldn't possibly be lying to the Queen could it?"
"Ridiculous to ask him this, he could have a whole Netflix series," joked a third.
In the interview, Boris also apologised to Ridge for failing to meet the Brexit 31st October deadline.
The UK will go to the polls for a general election on 12 December and official campaign begins this Wednesday after Parliament is shut down.
